To track subscriptions without a bank connection, record the billing details you confirm, check Apple subscriptions separately, and set reminders before renewals or trial end dates.

  1. Start with subscriptions you already know about

List services you actively use, then add the amount, billing interval, renewal date, and cancellation path. Begin with the subscriptions most likely to renew soon.

  2. Check Apple subscriptions separately

On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions to review Apple-billed plans. Services billed directly through a website will not necessarily appear there.

  3. Keep a record for direct-billed services

For subscriptions outside the App Store, save the service name, billing date, price, currency, and the place you would cancel. A confirmation email or account billing page can help fill in the details.

  4. Add reminders before renewal dates

Set reminders early enough to decide whether to keep the service. A reminder is a planning aid, not a cancellation, so complete any account action through Apple or the service provider.

  5. Use a tracker that does not require financial-account access

Looply lets you add or confirm subscription details, keep renewal reminders, and view recurring spending without connecting a bank, card, or payment account.

Common questions

Can I track subscriptions without linking a bank account?⌄

Yes. You can enter or confirm the service name, cost, billing interval, renewal date, and reminder yourself. This keeps your subscription tracker separate from your financial accounts.

Does Looply connect to my bank, card, or payment account?⌄

No. The current version of Looply does not connect to bank, card, or payment accounts. Subscription records are stored locally on your device by default.

Can a subscription tracker cancel a service for me?⌄

No. Looply helps you record and remember subscriptions. You cancel through Apple or the service that bills you, so the real account change stays under your control.

Can I use a screenshot to add a subscription?⌄

Looply can use on-device recognition to suggest details from a screenshot you choose. You review and confirm every result before it is saved. Optional cloud-enhanced recognition requires separate consent for that scan.
